CEI In Uzbekistan

CEI leaders recently traveled to Uzbekistan to meet with government and education leaders, advancing a global conversation about the transformative power of Camp Education.

Spending time with over 100 senior camp professionals in Tashkent, then visiting the ancient cities of Bukhara and Samarkand, as well as touring camps, the experience was a rich cultural exchange that laid the groundwork for an extended collaboration.

CEI and Made Impact at the UN

CEI joined the inaugural Made Impact Summit(opens in new tab) in New York City, convened around the vision of A Unified Voice for Global Exchange. On Ellis Island, CEI kicked off Storyteller Day(opens in new tab) with an opening session around a camp-inspired experience designed to build connection, trust, and shared purpose among the Summit’s first cohort of global storytellers.

The following day at United Nations Headquarters, CEI Co-Founder Stuart Jones was one of six sector leaders invited to formally ratify the Summit’s shared message(opens in new tab) during its culminating unification Vote. CEI brought Camp Education into the global education and exchange conversation, demonstrating how intentionally designed experiences can develop belonging, confidence, independence, human connection, and the capacity to understand and live alongside people different from ourselves.
